Welcome to the area! We are pleased to be your utility provider. Please complete the below application, so we can get your new utility account started for you.

If you would prefer to complete this form in person please stop at our office located at 122 N Sawyer Street. We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays from 7:30am - 12:00pm.
Transfer of Service
If you are currently a Shawano Municipal Utilities customer and you are moving to another address within our service area, you may transfer your service by calling our office at 715-526-3131 or by completing the Transfer of Service online form.
Residential Utility Service: Name/ID Change
Recently married or divorced? or has your partner recently passed away? To update your utility account with your new information please complete our Name/ID change form. An updated driver's license/photo ID with your new legal name is required.
Change of Mailing Address
Occasionally, we know that our customers will want their utility bill sent to an address that is different than their service address. This can be done by calling our office at 715-526-3131.
Landlord Forms:
Landords may request certain information from their tenant's utility bills. Landlords need to complete the attached request form to receive tenant utility billing information. Please email completed forms to support@cityofshawano.com or drop off at our office located at 122 N Sawyer St
